How To Volunteer For Cherokee County Saddle Club
If you would like to volunter on an ongoing basis, you may be interested in joining one of our standing committees. Just contact the appropriate committee head.
| Website: | Write short articles and develop web pages to document our events, speakers, rides, horse of the month, etc. Web experience not necessary, but you must have a computer and email. |
| Events: | Help plan club events. Coordinate volunteers and interface with outside speakers and horse trainers. Provide pictures, bios, and event documentation for the website. |
| Membership: | Plan and execute memberhip drives. |
| Rides: | Plan and coordinate club trail rides. Research new trails within our trail ride area. Provide ride pictures and documentation for the website, newsletter, and club scrapbooks. |
| Newsletter: | Work to produce and distribute the club's monthly newsletter. Write short articles, gather documentation on club activities for the previous month, and plans for upcoming months, and brainstorm items of interest to include. | Club History: | Collect pictures, articles, and information about club activities, both past and ongoing. Create Club Scrapbooks. |
