Trail Fees for Dawson Forest effective January 1, 2012 will be $75.00 Annual Permits and $7.00 Daily Permits. This increase/change was decided by City of Atlanta this week. On June 25th, 2011, officials with the U.S. Forest Service opened the 26-mile Dry Creek Trail System, a meandering series of loops for horseback riders, cyclists and hikers in the shadow of Johns Mountain.
