About Cherokee County Saddle Club

Not affiliated with Cherokee County Government or subsidiaries.

We began in May 1998 and are over 40 members strong and growing!

Our focus is meeting new horse people, and riding our horses on the trail. We schedule one trail ride each month and hold special training clinics and work on trail development projects. Our current projects are the development of the Garland Mountain Trail, and assisting the Milton Fire Department Large Animal Rescue Team by providing partial funding towards the purchase a life-size horse maniken.

Monthly meetings are held at a restaurant (without the horses!) where we usually host an educational speaker. You don't have to be a member to attend our meetings, but you do have to be a member to ride with us.

Upcoming Events and Rides: Check the events page for information on our next special event. Information on upcoming rides can be found on our rides page.

As A Member you'll receive the monthly newsletter with club ride and club information, worthy horse and horsepeople news, stories and educational information. You can join us for trail rides, poker rides, parades and educational clinics. Plus we provide various social activities during the year such as our monthly meetings, picnics, and parties.

Join Us! Come to a meeting, call or email us, or print and complete the Membership Application and Liability Release and return them to us with membership dues. The cost is $20.00 per person, or $25.00 per family!
